Our Approach to Teaching

Once a week is not enough
We have worked as traditional teachers, and we know that 1 lesson a week and nothing else is not enough for improving one’s English.

Further activities
The course includes materials that the student can choose to work with during the week so that they are exposed to the subject matter as often as possible.

Achieve improvement
Our focus is on your success.
If you wish to improve, and want to put in the effort to do so, OnWord is the right language school for you.
Our clients learn English not only in online lessons with a tutor, but also outside of these lessons through extra resources and activities.
Our Values

- Your learning is more important than our teaching.
- Lessons are worth the money they cost and provide real improvement.
- Secondary to effectiveness, learning should also be enjoyable.
- Constant improvement shall be seen, if constant effort is given.
Our Methods
- You speak more than we speak.
- 60 minutes once a week is not enough – regular practice makes for steady improvement.
- Quickly gained is quickly lost – slow and steady wins the race.
- The focus is on the right parts – no syllabus exists because ‘that’s how it’s done’.
